Yoon Kang, M.D. is currently the Director of the Clinical Skills Center at the Weill Cornell Medical College. She is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College and an Assistant Attending Physician at NewYork- Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Kang has a special interest in medical education and has served in a number of leadership roles at both Washington University School of Medicine and Weill Cornell Medical College. Upon completion of her residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, she served as Chief Resident and then became a faculty member in the Division of Medical Education in the Department of Medicine at Washington University. She held numerous teaching and administrative positions at Washington University School of Medicine including Content Area Leader for the clinical skills curriculum, Site Director of the Medicine Clerkship, Director of Standardized Patient Programs, and Course Director of the Practice of Medicine II. Dr. Kang joined the faculty at Weill Cornell in July, 2003 as Director of Standardized Patient Programs in the Office of Academic Affairs and was then appointed Director of the Clinical Skills Center in July, 2006. Dr. Kang's primary focus in medical education is teaching and assessing clinical skills. As the Director of the Clinical Skills Center, she continues to create and implement the Center's programs and develop the administrative infrastructure to support its educational goals.
