Billing and Insurance

We participate in a variety of insurance and managed care plans. Co-payments and payment for non-covered services are expected at the time your visit. We accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. If you request to be billed for your copayment, there is an additional $10 processing fee. If you have health insurance, please have your insurance card with you when you call for an appointment so we may verify our participation in your plan.

If you are uninsured or are insured by a plan in which we do not participate, full payment is expected at the time your visit.

Referrals for Insurance: If your insurance requires that you obtain a referral from our office, please request all non-urgent referrals 72 hours in advance by phone or via Weill Cornell Connect. Referrals requested online are generally processed more quickly. Depending on the nature of your situation, we may ask that you be seen in our office first before we issue a referral.

Insurance Plans: Insurance plans we accept differ by physician and location. Please check beforehand to find out if a doctor participates in your plan.
