Stephanie O. Zandieh, M.D., M.S. is a board-certified pediatrician and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is currently an Assistant Attending Pediatrician in the Department of Pediatrics at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, Weill Cornell Campus and Instructor at Weill Cornell Medical College. After earning a B.S. in Management and Marketing at New York University (1990), she attended the Sackler School of Medicine in Tel Aviv, Israel where she earned her M.D. in 1998. Additionally, after completing her residency, she earned a M.S. at Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences of Cornell University in Clinical Epidemiology and Health Services Research in 2004. In 1999, she completed her Internship in Pediatrics at Buffalo at the School of Medicine and Biomedical State University of New York. She was a resident and Chief Resident in Pediatrics at Jacobi Medical Center affiliated with the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 2002. She stayed on at Jacobi Medical Center as an attending while serving as an Instructor of Pediatrics at Albert Einstein School of Medicine. In 2004, she joined the faculty at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. In addition to her general practice, Dr. Zandieh is involved with teaching residents and medical students in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. Dr. Zandieh is active in clinical research in the areas of Health Information Technology (IT) and patient safety.
