Robert F. Ward, M.D.

Dr. Ward is a member of the full time faculty at Weill Cornell Medical College& and the Division Chief of Pediatric Otolaryngology. He is working with Drs. Max April and Vikash Modi to further enhance our pediatric services, especially now that we are in our new location in the Oxford building.

Dr. Ward's areas of clinical interest include the management of pediatric airway diseases, treatment of head and neck masses in children, evaluation and management of speech and language disorders including velopharyngeal dysfynction, and the management of cleft abnormalities. Dr. Ward is a nationally and internationally recognized pediatric otolaryngologist. He has served as a board member for the American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology and is a member of the Pediatric committee of the American Academy of Otolaryngology -Head and Neck Surgery. He has been voted one of the best doctors in New York Magazine since 1989 and also has been voted into "America's Best Doctors". Dr Ward graduated from the Weill Medical College and completed his training at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. He additionally pursued fellowship training in Pediatric Otolaryngology at Children's Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts where he was on the faculty of Harvard Medical College. Dr. Ward has had a long commitment to pro bono work in developing countries and has participated in medical missions for over 15 years for treatment of head and neck anomalies including cleft lip and palates.
