Rebecca Elstrom, M.D. is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Hematology/Oncology, Department of Internal Medicine at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University. Dr. Elstrom's clinical and research interests include the integration of novel therapies into treatment of patients with lymphoma. Her research also focuses on functional imaging modalities and their incorporation into the care of patients with lymphoma. Dr. Elstrom attended medical school at the University of Pennsylvania and completed residence at Emory University. She pursued fellowship training in Hematology and Oncology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where she studied the biology of metabolic changes in lymphoma cells. Prior to joining the faculty at Weill Medical College of Cornell University this year, Dr. Elstrom was an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Michigan. She is a member of numerous professional organizations, the author of numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters.
