Weill Cornell Child Development Program
Our multi-disciplinary team in the Child Development Program is dedicated to providing integrated and collaborative care to a diverse population of children with a wide range of difficulties. We provide evaluations, treatment and referrals for difficulties including: delays in motor and language development, hyperactivity-attention deficit disorder, autistic disorders, cerebral palsy, and failure-to-thrive. In addition, we treat behavioral difficulties such as temper tantrums, sleep disorders, and enuresis (bed-wetting).
Early Intervention Program
What happens during the early years of your child's life is very important to his or her later health and well-being. It is best to identify problems in babies and children at the earliest possible age, so that they can get the best care. Because of the importance of this early care, the State of New York passed a law stating that infants and toddlers with developmental disabilities are entitled to Early Intervention Services. We are an approved evaluation center for the New York State Early Intervention Program.
