Dr. Raffaele Milizia is presently an Attending Physician in the Department of Emergency Medicine. He graduated from Fordham University and then from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Milizia completed a residency in Emergency Medicine at New York Presbyterian Hospital, where he was named chief resident.
Dr. Milizia has a particular interest in resident and mid level provider education and is presently the Educational Coordinator for the Physician Assistant Initiative in the Emergency Department. Dr. Milizia is also a co-director of the Clinical Updates in Emergency Medicine for PAs and NPs national CME course offered by the Department of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Milizia is part of the planning committee for the new Physician Assistant Residency in Emergency Medicine which is starting in 2011 and will serve as the Education Coordinator. This will be one of only a few PA residencies in the nation and the first at New York Presbyterian Hospital.
