Dr. Michael Vortman is a graduate of Stanford University and the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine. He completed a residency in Emergency Medicine at Boston Medical Center, where is was selected as Chief Resident and is presently an Attending Physician and Instructor in Medicine in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical Center.
Dr. Vortman has a particular interest in resident education and was part of the faculty at the Dubai Trauma Course in 2009. Dr. Vortman has also participated in several international and humanitarian projects in South Africa and Lesoutho.
