Dr. Minh-Nhut Yvonne Dang is Assistant Professor of Radiology at Weill Cornell Medical College and an Assistant Attending Radiologist at New York-Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Campus. She is a member of the Division of Interventional Radiology. She performs interventional radiology procedures and has developed a special interest and clinical expertise in Uterine Fibroid Embolization and MR-guided-Focused Ultrasound surgery.
Dr. Dang is also a very active and dedicated teacher and serves as the Program Director of the Interventional Radiology Fellowship Program at Weill Cornell-NYPH.
Dr. Dang earned her B.S. degree from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, AR in 1993. She was awarded her M.D. degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, AR in 1997.
She was an intern at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics in Iowa City, IA from 1997-1998 and also received her radiology residency training (1998-2002) in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Iowa.
This was followed by a Fellowship in Interventional Radiology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia, PA from 2002 to 2003. She was then recruited to the full-time faculty a Weill Cornell Medical College-NYPH in 2004.
Dr. Dang achieved Board Certification in Diagnostic Radiology from the American Board of Radiology in 2002. She has also earned a Certificate of Added Qualifications (CAQ) in the subspecialty of Interventional Radiology in 2006.
