Meredith Grossman, Ph.D

Meredith Grossman, Ph.D is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in the evaluation and treatment of anxiety and mood disorders. She is also an Instructor of Psychology in the Department of Psychiatry, where she oversees several clinical trials in the Affective Disorders Research Program.

Dr. Grossman received her Ph.D. from Teachers College, Columbia University. She completed a full-time clinical internship at Westchester Jewish Community Services. Dr. Grossman completed two post-doctoral fellowships in the areas of anxiety and mood disorders and forensics.

During her extensive experience treating children, adolescents, and adults using a cognitive-behavioral approach, she has worked with patients struggling with anxiety disorders (such as social phobia, selective mutism, OCD, panic disorder, specific phobias, and generalized anxiety disorder) and mood disorders (such as depression and bipolar disorder). Dr. Grossman has also worked extensively with adolescents who have been traumatized, as well as adolescents and adults who exhibit sexual behavior problems.

Dr. Grossman is an active member in the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies.

Dr. Grossman is available for diagnostic evaluations and individual cognitive-behavioral therapy in both Westchester and Manhattan.
