Dr. Danielle Shehorn received her B.S. degree from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, AR in 1997. She earned her M.D. degree in 2001 from the University of Arkansas School of Medical Sciences in Little Rock, AR. After completing her internship year (2001-2002) at the Louisiana State University (LSU) Health Sciences Center, Shreveport, LA, Dr. Shehorn remained at LSU Health Sciences Center for her radiology residency training (2002-2006) in Diagnostic Radiology from 2002-2006. Dr. Shehorn completed a Fellowship in Body-MRI Imaging (2006-2007) at Weill Cornell Medical College-NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital.
Dr. Shehorn achieved Board Certification in Diagnostic Radiology from the American Board of Radiology in 2006.
In 2007, Dr. Shehorn joined the full-time faculty of Weill Cornell Medical College’s Department of Radiology and is a member Weill Cornell Imaging at NYP, our multi-site outpatient imaging practice. She is an Assistant Professor of Radiology at Weill Cornell Medical College and an Assistant Attending Radiologist at the New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical College Campus.
Dr. Shehorn performs a wide variety of studies in CT, MRI, ultrasound, PET, and x-ray. Dr. Shehorn has developed an interest and clinical expertise in urologic imaging (MRI and CT) and is working with Urology faculty on the development of organ-targeted MRI for prostate. Dr. Shehorn holds a secondary appointment, as Assistant Professor of Radiology in Urology at Weill Cornell Medical College.
