Diane Lane, Ph.D., serves at one of the most comprehensive care facilities in the world ndash; the renowned New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. Cornell scientists are academic leaders responsible for many health-restoring medical breakthroughs and advances.
Dr. Lane received her Ph.D. from Washington State University in 2004 investigating mechanisms of morphine tolerance under the supervision of Dr. Michael Morgan. In 2005, Dr. Lane came to Weill Cornell Medical College as a post-doctoral fellow in Dr. Virginia Pickel's laboratory. Currently, Dr. Lane is an Assistant Professor of Neuroscience investigating progressive changes in function of both the reward and nociceptive systems following repeated drug administration.
