Personal Statement

Darlene Mitera, MD is an Assistant Attending Psychiatrist and an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medicine.

Biographical Info

Darlene Mitera, MD received her medical degree from the State University of New York and gained valuable experience during her residency training and employment as a Clinical Associate in Psychiatry at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University.

She then went on to assume Instructor positions at both Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons as well as Weill Cornell Medical. She has dedicated her time at NewYork Presbyterian as an Assistant Attending for the past 14 years.
