Chenzhong Fu, M.D.
Chenzhong Fu, MD obtained his medical degree in 1982 from Jiangxi Medical College and PhD in 1992 from Sun Yat-Sen University of Medical Sciences in China. He graduated from rehabilitation medicine resident training at Mt. Sinai Medical Center and jointed New York Downtown Hospital in 2004.
Dr. Fu is currently serving as an Assistant Professor and Attending Physician in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine and working at NYP Lower Manhattan Hospital. He is especially interested in neck and back pain disorders, arthritis, EMG diagnosis and pain management. He is a board certified physiatrist and also a certified physician-acupuncturist.
Dr. Fu is a fellow member of the Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He has published several research studies on Rehabilitation Medicine and Medical Sciences.
Dr. Fu speaks fluently in both Mandarin and Cantonese Chinese as well.
