Dr. Asemota is an Attending Psychiatrist and Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the New York Presbyterian Hospital, Payne Whitney, Westchester.
His medical education was at the University of Benin College of Medicine, Nigeria in 1988. He finished his residency training at the Montefiore Medical Center, the teaching hospital of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1998. He worked as a unit chief in an urban hospital before returning to academia in 2005. He is currently responsible for the psychiatric clerkship of the physician assistant programs at the Westchester campus and is a member of the Pharmaceutical therapeutics committee.
