Dr. Anthony Mustalish has been with New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell for the past 20 years with a joint appointments in the Departments of Emergency Medicine and Public Health. He is presently an Associate Professor and the Associate Director of the Emergency Department. Dr. Mustalish is board certified in both Emergency Medicine and Public Health and specializes in Healthcare Administration and is the leader of the Emergency Department Physician Organization. He has a particular interest in patient centered care and improving Emergency Department efficiency and effectivness.
Dr. Mustalish has extensive experience in various leaderhip roles including serving as the Deputy Commissioner of Health for New York City, director of several Emergency Departments, and served as Chief Operating Officer of Lenox Hill Hospital.
He is fellow of the New York Academy of Medicine, The American College of Emergency Physicians, and The American College of Preventive Medicine and Public Health.
