Pediatric Radiology

The Division of Pediatric Radiology provides comprehensive diagnostic imaging services to infants, children and adolescents, in a child-friendly family-friendly setting. Parents are encouraged to be with their children during all examinations. Plain X-rays, ultrasound, and CT are performed using state-of-the-art equipment. Any need for preparation is explained at the time of scheduling. Pediatric radiologists and technologists are available to discuss any special concerns with referring physicians, patients and parents.

Appointments are scheduled Monday through Friday between 8 AM and 4 PM Inpatients' exams are ordered through Eclypsis. Outpatient appointments are scheduled by calling 212-746-2556. After hours emergency examinations are arranged through the Pediatric Emergency Department.

Pediatric Radiology Faculty

The faculty of Pediatric Radiology consists of Paula W. Brill, M.D., F.A.C.R., and Arzu Kovanlikaya, M.D. Drs. Brill and Kovanlikaya are internationally known pediatric radiologists and are Professor of Radiology, and Associate Professor of Radiology, respectively, at Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University and Attending Radiologist and Asssocite Attending Radiolgist, respectively, at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Campus.

Dr. Brill has achieved Board Certified in two specialities. She is Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology and is also Board Certified in Pediatrics. In addition, Dr. Brill has earned a Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in the sub-specialty of Pediatric Radiology.

Dr. Kovanlikaya has achieved Board Certification in Diagnostic Radiology and has earned a Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in the sub-specialty of Pediatric Radiology and also a CAQ in the sub-speciality of Neuroradiology.
