Dr. Zonenshayn received his undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from Columbia University and graduated with honors from New York University School of Medicine. He completed his residency and chief residency training in Neurosurgery at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, earning a Distinguished Housestaff Award. In addition, Dr. Zonenshayn received advanced fellowship training at New York University Medical Center/Hospital for Joint Diseases in stereotactic and functional neurosurgery and has published several peer-reviewed articles on previous topics. His clinical and research interests include innovative surgical treatments of pain, movement disorders, and psychiatric conditions, as well as a computer-guided surgery and functional neuroimaging.
