Dr Bustillo is an Assistant Professor and the Director of the Residency Program at the Department of Anesthesiology at Weill Cornell Medical College. Dr Bustillo performs anesthesia for all patients undergoing complex surgical procedures. Dr Bustillo's clinical interest is in the area of Neuroanesthesiology. She is a member of the Neuroanesthesia Division. Dr Bustillo is on the Resident Research committe of the NYSSA since 2006. Dr Bustillo is a Diplomat of the American Board of Anesthesiology.
Dr Bustillo received her medical degree from the Universidad Central de Venezuela. Dr Bustillo completed her Anesthesiology Residency and her Neuroanesthesiology fellowship at New York Hospital Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons. Dr Bustillo was an Assistant Professor at the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences before joining the faculty at the Department of Anesthesiology at Weill Cornell Medical College in 2005. Dr Bustillo is an Assistant Professor. She is a member of the Neuroanesthesia Division.Dr Bustillo is the Director of the Residency Program since July 2007. Dr Bustillo is a Diplomat of the American Board of Anesthesiology.
