Dr. Kim maintains a private practiceinGeneralPsychiatry.  He is also the Unit Chief for Outpatient Psychiatric RehabilitationServicesandthe Psychotic Disorders Clinic.  He is an investigator in clinical trials for schizophrenia and for mooddisorders. Hisinterests include schizophrenia, refractory mood and anxiety disorders, psychodynamic psychotherapy,and computationalneuroscience.

Dr. Kim completed his internship at UCLA and residency at the Payne Whitney Clinic, NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital.  He received additional training at the New York Psychoanalytic Institute and the Mount Sinai Schizophrenia Treatment and Research program.  Dr. Kim joined the full-time faculty of the Weill-Cornell Medical College following residency and supervised several Cornell outpatient department clinics, including the Anxiety and Traumatic Stress Program, Cognitive Therapy Clinic, and the Intensive Psychiatric Rehabilitation and Training program.  He has also served as Consultation-Liason psychiatrist to Cornell Internal Medicine Associates.
