Weill Cornell Medical Associates

About Us

The physicians at Weill Cornell Medical Associates provide primary care services in internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology and pediatrics in two contemporary, full-service sites on the Upper East Side and on the Upper West Sideof Manhattan. The three specialties work together to provide excellent medical care and comprehensive services to all family members. Each of our physicians are faculty members of the Weill Medical College of Cornell University and attending physicians at the renowned NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital.

Our medical teams include a nurse practitioner, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and medical assistants who work closely with the physicians to provide and coordinate your health care needs. Our nurses are available to answer your questions and offer appropriate suggestions in consultation with the doctors. Our appointments and billing staff will assist you in scheduling appointments, tests or procedures in our office or admission to the hospital, if needed. Our staff is aware of the administrative complexities that exist in the current health care system and are available to assist you with any questions you may have.

We participate with a variety of insurance and managed care plans. Co-payments and payment for non-covered services are expected at the time of visit. If you are uninsured or are insured by a plan in which we do not participate, full payment is expected at the time of visit. We accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard and American Express.

If you need to reach a doctor for an urgent matter after the office is closed, please call the main office number and the answering service will contact the appropriate physician on call. The answering service will ask for basic information and for the nature of your problem.

For non-urgent issues, please call when our office is open or you may e-mail us or leave a message with the answering service and your call will be returned when the office reopens.

If your insurance requires that you obtain a referral to see a specialist you must contact our office or be seen in our office first and then provide at least 48 hours notice of your specialist's appointment so that we may properly process your referral. We may not provide a referral if you have already visited a specialist without your doctor's prior authorization.
