As a general internist I have the opportunity to care of adults of all ages with a wide variety of medical conditions. I value the long-term relationship that I develop with my patients and the continuity of care that I can provide them as their primary care physician.
Dr. Christina E. Harris is a graduate of Harvard University and received her medical degree from Harvard Medical School in 2003. She completed her training in Internal Medicine as part of the Primary Care Residency training program at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell Campus in 2006. Upon completion of her training, Dr. Harris joined the Weill Cornell Internal Medicine Associates practice at the Long Island City Community Practice where she practices general internal medicine.
Dr. Harris is also an Associate Program Director of Residency Training for the Department of Medicine at Weill-Cornell and she is very involved in resident recruitment and education. More specifically she has developed a successful community medicine experience for medical residents with a focus on health education outreach and a medical home visit program.
