Dr. Walter maintains a private practice in general child, adolescent and adult psychiatry, and her practice is open for consultations,pharmacotherapy, psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and play therapy. Areas of interest include young adult mental health, moodand anxiety disorders, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
As a full time faculty member at Weill Cornell, Dr. Walter is Chief of the Adolescent Psychiatry Unit at New York Presbyterian Hospital's Westchester Division, and teaches General Psychiatry to Weill Cornell medical students and Fellows in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Walter is a graduate of Boston University School of Medicine and completed training in Pediatrics, Adult Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Tufts-New England Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts.
