Anjali Dahiya, M.D., Ph.D.

 

 

 

Anjali Dahiya, MD, PhD, has been appointed Assistant Professor of Dermatology and Assistant Attending Physician at New York Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Dahiya graduated with highest honors from Princeton University in New Jersey and proceeded to medical school where she received her MD-PhD degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Dahiya's PhD degree was earned in molecular and cellular biology, where she studied the role of the retinoblastoma tumor suppressor in preventing carcinogenesis.

 

Dr. Dahiya completed her residency in Dermatology at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. During her residency she published papers in both general and cosmetic dermatology. She also presented cases at the American Academy of Dermatology annual meeting and Atlantic Dermatology Conference.

 

Dr. Dahiya's practice includes medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She is interested in the early detection of skin cancers, treatment of acne and rosacea, and treating many skin conditions including eczema and psoriasis. She is also interested in aesthetic dermatology, with a special interest in fillers (such as Restylane and Radiesse) and Botox. She also performs many laser procedures for broken capillaries, age and sun spots, and hair removal in all skin types.

 

Dr.Dahiya sees patients on Mon, Wed, and Fridays at 1305 York Avenue, 9th floor.

On Thursdays she sees patients at 425 E.61st St, 11th floor.
